how do i know what torque converter to buy 27 or 30 spline?

If they are the same price get the 30 spline because then you are getting more for your money...

This is absolute hogwash.



Count the splines on your transmission input shaft and buy the torque converter with the correct number of splines to match your trans.

I'm assuming you're talking about a 700R4. If your trans is still installed & needs to stay that way, see if you can find some kind of production date code on it. If you can find out when yours was built, and then find out exactly what year the change was made, you might be able to tell what it has.

But counting is definitely the best way. And count twice. Splines tend to make me cross-eyed and I come up with more than one answer sometimes.

Has any one tried MEAN GREEN degreaser?
It is suppose to be a very good degreaser.
I guess you could wash your hog with it.
