Running Rough

Got my car out last Sunday, worked OK on the way home.Took the dizzy out to replace the bronze gear with the proper cast melonized gear, put new wire harness on (from module to where it plugs in),put back in,set timing at 14 btdc, ran great.Took carb (Holley 800 dbl pmp) off to put new billet aluminum throttle body on,all gaskets were lined up and all passages were clean, car just barely started and ran really bad, took carb off and put old throttle body back on and it still runs rough, wont idle, running rich,,anybody have any ideas on where I went wrong and any suggestions on how to fix it.Thanks!

I Dont Know But I Would Check The Ignition To See If You Are Getting The Correct Amount Of Spark To Burn The Gas. Check The Wires For Cuts Or Burnt Spots Retrace The Wires To Make Sure They Are In The Right Spot. It Could Have Possibly Jumped Time Somehow Pull The Plugs To See If They Are Gapped Correctly I Had A Similar Problem On My Truck And The Cam Lope Wore Off So Dont Know But There Are Some Ideas Hope I Helped
