Runs in clearcoat
I use nason high image clear and water sanded and added more clear about two weeks later. When i started adding the additional clear, silly of me I started way to heavy and it really didnt want to stick. Anyway I ended up with some fairly thick sags and runs. I sanded the runs and sags down smooth and buffed but I can still see where they were.
The nason high image is like magic but i goofed. I see and understand all my mistakes but i dont understand these prints that's left. Thanks for any help. |

If your sure you sanded the run flat, then I think it just may be too soft yet.
Runs stay soft longer because of the added material, and why it may buff differently and be tough to get rid of the ghost image of the run. Try setting out in the sun for a day or putting some heat to the area to help things cure up more. Then try buffing or blocking and buffing again. You always have to be a bit carefull with the first coat whenever your reclearing and it you have a fairly fine scratch underneath it, it will like to slide fairly easy. Take a look at these threads. paint run removal run in the clear coat |

Auctually the print that's left in the clear after the runs/sags are flattened looks like little white pin tip size dot that has the formation of the runs/sags. its been about 3 weeks since i recleared.
Thanks again for any help. |
