Russian car drop
Hi!
I'm from Russia and own this car http://photofile.ru/users/g_nine/1416121/ Its not in a very good condition, but... So, I want to lower it and make it emmm.... sticker (?)- I mean I don't want to fly from left to right seat wile turning (hope you've uderstand me). Its rather easy to make this on the front suspension- just cut soil springs. But on the rear it (my car) has leaf springs http://photofile.ru/users/g_nine/1416133/ Thats why I have no idea how to low it and make stick. We don't have no modifyed springs for this car, but some say that this leaf springs could be changed with springs from another car. Still, I really want to know is there any way, to make this (stock I mean) springs lower and sticker? Thanx |

You should be able to use lowering blocks. That is a block of steel between the spring and rear end housing. About 2" (5cm) should do it.
When cutting the front springs, just cut 1/2 coil at a time.......that should also lower it 2"....Get an alignment afterwards.
