Post rust

i am thinking about getting a 72 volvo p1800es, but it has some rust spots. the man says that there are only a couple of spots where the rust goes through the body, but there is some surface rust on other places too. i was just wondering how you could fix something like that or if it were worth the money to try to fix it. thanks for any imput.

If it is coming through, the only way to fix it is weld in new material. This is very time cosuming and if you have it done by someone else it will be expensive. Kindof depends on what the car is worth and what you want it for.
