Just painting over the rust is not going to stop it, it must first be neutralized with something like Ospho. Personally I would not use anything with the Rustoleum name on it, I think it is highly over rated as far as preventing rust. Once the rust is dead (black), then it can be wire brushed and painted over with epoxy paint.
FYI epoxy paint does not come in a rattle can, no matter what the label says. Vince |
