Question Rust removale and paint before engine

My 72 camaro has some rust that has been eaten all the wy through on the quarter panel next to the tire are. Also it has rust in the back of the inside of the trunk ? My question is, About how much would it cause me to cut and paste without bonding .? And also do you guys think i should paint before i put my motor in or after i put my new motor in ? thank.......very helpful

I'm a bit unclear on what your asking. If your asking how much it will coat for rust repair panels to be put it it all depends on your local shop. you can do it yourself if you have access to a mig welder and know how to spot weld. I'm unclear on what your asking. Also if you plan to clean and paint your engine bay, do it before engine placment. If you just intend on painting the exsterrior of the vehicle paint it after the engine is in so during the instalation process you don't trash your new paint. I'd be glad to help if more if you could clear up the confusion.

i think u would be better off just biing the panels and trunk yourself, get somone who knows how to spot weld. if u plan on repainting exterrior then do it before u drop in the motor so u dont get paint on the motor. this is what holloweenking was saying.
