rust in used oil pan b4 installation

I bought a used chrome oil pan with rust in it, I got all of the rust out, Is it still a good idea to use?

Once the inside is coated with oil, it isn't going to rust anymore.

I'd be more concerned if the chrome plating on the inside can start coming off.
