Rusted '39 Ford frame

Hello all, newbie here. I have a 1939 Ford Deluxe Tudor I recently acquired, and the frame is rusted through in a couple spots. The body mount on the LH side is rusted through on the top, which isn't bad, I can fix that. However, on the RH side, where the side rail curves up to go over the axle, and where the X-member meets the side rail (to form the double wall frame) it's rusted through at the bottom and about an inch up the outer wall of the side rail. The X-member where it joins back into the side rail is rusted through as well.

Has anyone had any experience in fixing this? I cannot afford an aftermarket frame, nor $500 or $1000 on an original frame. I thought about replacing the whole side rail, but I can imagine that to be cost prohibitive as well. I can post a pic or two if need be, but I need some advice on whether to fix it or look for a cheap, original frame.

Thanks for the help!!
Pat

I have repaired these frames with 1/8" or 11 ga. steel. If you have some fabrication skills and a welder it is just a matter of duplicating the parts+ about an inch to weld to the good frame material. These frames are made from mild steel and weld up well.

Frame help

I have a 40 Frame that is rusted in the front, but the rear section you described is o.k. You can have the whole thing for nothing, if you want to come get it.
Located close to Oklahoma City.
