Rusted dash
Luckily I found the 1965 Chev Impala SS that I ordered new. I sold it to a guy who blew the motor and then it sat in a Iowa Farm field for 30 years. Unfortunately the windshild leaked and the dash is pretty well rusted. It looks like the metal dash is spot welded in, that I could drill out the spot welds and replace it with one from a donor car. Does this sound right? Where can I find a rust free dash?

From a rust free donor car. That is not an item that is remanufactured. I have to leave but I'll post a few sites on here later that you can check out. A dash should be fairly easy to come by as it is not something that someone normally takes out or keeps when parting out a car.
