Unhappy rusted out

I have a 65 chevy truck. and the floors are rusted in the corners and along the door. i cut off all the loose ***** off. what is the best way to patch these holes??
weld it?
fiber glass?
or any other ideas??

The only safe way I will recomend is welding in patch panels. If you check the Knowledge base in the exsterior body section there is a how to on doing this. Welding in patch panels is the only way to go on floors.

I agree buy replacement floor panels and weld them in.On older chev trucks the rocker panels where they meet the floor is rusted also.

Definatley weld them. The replacement panels will save time and money. (unless you have a buddy in a sheetmetal dept.) You can even rent 110 volt flux core mig welders. Mig with sheilding gas it the best bet. Be sure to remove as much rust as possible.(make welding 10x easier) Remember not to weld everything up at one time. lots of little tacks and stitch welds to keep distortion down. Hope this helps. Love those C-10 trucks. wish I had one.
