Rusty 428

Rusty,
Finally got the pictures from the photo shoot of the mustang.
Why they use funky lighting is beyond me.
The shoot was done at Sema show in Vegas.

I will have the car back in march if you want to race (I will give you a head start)! LOL
Barry

Barry,
I'll be ready to race in March!!! I have decided to bring my Super Stock Mustang out of retirement and will race at the Div 2 races next year. 3 in Fl. and 3 in GA. Will be pulling the engine next week to rebuild. I have to add a 10 point roll cage to be legal. I took it to the 14th annual Mustang and Ford show in Bradenton Sunday and got the trophy for best paint thanks to SPI clear and following your "The Perfect Paint Job".

My car is a red white and blue 1969 Mustang that I raced in SS/GA and held the NHRA record in 1971 and 1974. I restored it last year using SPI primers and clear and painted it the way it was in the 70's. It is on the SPI web site.

No this car is owned by Bud the producer of Overhaulin and the Rides show
and built from ground up by Yearone.
All I did was shoot paint.

Rusty, you bring that Stang out again and get more famous just don't forget all us little people!

I think its call job security.

I watched these guys when they came to do the Camaro.
For two hours they set up lights and moved lights 2 inches this way and that way.
I'm thinking lets pull the car outside and take 50 pictures in five minutes and go home.

They must prove that you cannot just snap a picture or anyone could do their job.

I sure am glad I worked for over six months to make a black/black base.
You can almost tell its black?

You know! dont laugh
I once bought a 76 eldo convert that someone had painted with white house paint( flat). Drove it home for $500. Had it painted and did an interior from a Barritz and it turned out to be a real nice car( traded it for a cc dually a few years later)
