S-10 frame swap to a 1947 mercury

Has anyone done this before and does it take a long bed or short bed?

I don't know if anyone here has done this. Is the wheelbase the same as a Ford? Do you have a coupe, sedan, 4 door and what is the wheelbase of your car? Somewhere on the site is the dimensions of the S-10, get some more info on yours and maybe we can get this figured out. You don't see too many 47 Mercs, this will be an interesting and nice looking car to build.

I've got a 46 ford 4 dr. started that I'am putting on a 83 elcomino frame. Frame swap was a peice of cake and I've had the body on the frame for fitting and it looked real good. Took it back off to finish frame and do body work on body.
