S-10 Maiden Voyage and New Pics

Well, I finally got to drive the S-10 today. While it was just from the back of my house to the front, it was a real milestone for it to move under its own power. It wont be long now...

I washed her up and took some good pics for my album. I also put some pics up of the new bonnet and BOV installation.

Enjoy,

Chris

What kind of turbo is that? I've been throwing around the idea of throwing a turbo on my engine once its done.

Thanks, I appreciate it. It is almost done. I really wanted to take it out and thrash on it today, but untill I can get the EFI in line I will have to wait.

The block will only take around 750-800 if I push it, so that will be the goal for now. The turbo will support around 1000-1200 if I ever decide to get rediculous and buy a good block.

It is a Garrett TD06. I believe it came off of a V6 Mack truck, but since I got it off of ebay, I really am not sure.

If you are thinking of a turbo, you need to plan the engine around it. It is not as simple as just throwing one on there.
