s-10 & monte carlo drop spindles

does anyone know if a set of drop spindles for a S-10 will work on a g body car like a 85 SS Monte Carlo? i've heard they will, but i found this one place that sells them for $118.00 & they said they didn't think they would. the S-10 spindles i'm looking at are for 82-03 model S-10 trucks. i'm thinking their the same thing. anyone know for sure? thanks
