s-w dimension or ppg shopline basecoat

would like opinions from people who have used them please. if you do not like one or other please give reason. just don't say JUNK because you heard someone else say it.

The most important thing is the color matchs they are not that good and the clears are not up to standard

if you want a good inexpensive paint with dreat color match look at gentec you can not go wrong with this paint

If you are doing a all over then you would be ok with all of the cheaper lines other then the clear if I were to use say shop line base then I would use the PPG 2021 clear it has a better gloss and it will hold up better then the shopline clear in the long run

Yeah I have seen the jc630 shopline clear breakdown after only a few years and its not very durable.

even the ppg,s-w jobbers said to upgrade clear. the truck will be a driver.

the truck is a 1993 with 36000 miles no rust except for frame. i will add new mirors,roll pan,paint front bumper and grill to match truck,billett grille insert. the truck has 3/4 drop

Check out pro spray base with SPI clear...It might be the best bang for the buck...
I didnt like the dimentions at all.I cant put my finger on why but I didnt like anything about it and never used it a second time

Give the SPI clear a try, I think you will like it. If you choose to go with PPG clear the most durable and highest gloss is DCU2002.

2nd line paint will cost the same as you will have to use more. dimension sucks period. omni is no better . prospray would be a better choice.
