s10 blazer exhaust inquiry

hey guys, here is the thing i am not a mech, and i have concerns. i want to run a dual exhaust. ive got the headers(1.5"prime 2.5" collecters) stock is 2". i,am using 2.5" for entire system, but there is no where to put a second cat or to run a second line at all for that matter. i am sure its possible but no one around here wants to tackle that challenge. also i did a search here and found some interesting info. one guy said if i stayed w/ the y pipe configuration being that its a half " bigger w/ a high flow cat and a super turbo muffler. that it would be pretty much same thing as going through all the trouble to run duals. what do you guys think ? i would really love some input on this matter. i,m sorry the truck is a 92 s10 blazer 4.3 c.p.i. thanks in advance!

hmm, i'll chime in, the simplest would be option #2. performance wise, i doubt youd see much difference.

hey thanks for the relpy, i did go w/ option #2, put edelbrock ti-tech shorty,s w/ y pipe and super turbo dynamax muffler. it runs like a dream, you can just feel how much better she,s breathing not to mention the qiucker launch and the boost in the passing gear as well. still wish i would have gotten a couple of replies, at the time the decision was critical, but happy w/ the end result. thanks again!
