Post S10 Brakes on a Chevelle???

This might sound like a dumb question but does anyone know if the front disc setup from a late-80's S10 work on a 71 Chevelle? The reason that I ask is I have an 89 S10 that I am stripping parts off of and I was wondering if I could use any of the front suspension parts on my Chevelle frame.
Thanks,
WEIMER

Well I dont know if this helps, but the S-10 brakes are the same as the late seventies and early eighties malibus.

Well folks I went out to yank some more parts off of the S10 today...after I got the frontend off where I could see the A-arms I went and grabbed the A-arms from the Chevelle to compare...all of the mounting bolts line up perfect and the ball joints are still located in the same place. Believe it or not the S10 A-arms look a helluva lot beefier than the Chevelle arms do...Gonna give it a shot. The most that I can be out of is my time, since I already have the parts...right?

Later,
WEIMER
