looking for some tech help on a couple of areas of my project. hopefully i
can find some and put it to use. first of all i am going to strip my truck to the
frame w/ everything coming off down to the last bolt and then i plan to
box the frame to the back to make it stronger and give it a cleaner meaner
look w/ a full candy paint scheme including a custom suspension probably
hydraulics instead of bags. the area in which i needed help most was
getting ideas on how to best do a complete tilt front end and also a lift and
tilt bed w/ a sub frame called a z rack. i deeply appreciate any info i
can receive for my project.. will try to post up pics on my progress..

Cool project.....On the tilt front end,I designed a "slide",in other words,two pieces of square tubing each side that fit into each other,one mounted to front end section,the other mounted to frame.Before you tilt,you have to pull front end forward approx 4"(youll have to measure) .With that setup you will clear the cowl,door areas,when it tilts.No scratches and no slices("ugly") in lower fenders.I can maybe draw a print for you if you like. Never did tilt box yet.,hope this helps
