S10 wiper motor

I have a 1985 s10 im finishing up. It was altogether with a small block in it, but then i took it out to put mine in. I am trying to hook up the wiper motor. There is one cluster of wires coming out of the fuse block, i think its attached to the harness. the cluster comes together to a plug on the end which goes into the wiper motor. There is also a small red wire coming out of the other end of the wiper motor. Where does this go? I know usually red it positive but could it be ground? Thanks

not really sure there are only two wires that work the motor the others are for the delay speeds.the inside also a has a circuit board. i bypassed mine so its just two speeds fast and slow. get a Hayes s10 manual its has all the wiring diagrams might be a orange wire not red
