So it sounds to me that I am going to have to make my own front clip. I can't find one I have called everywhere I can think of. Jc Whit literally told me to fornicate myself... which was lovely.

SO, unless you folks know of a fiberglass front clip I am going to need a hand in finding some CHEAP parts to start with and modify to mold together.

Anyone know the least expensive fiberglass front fenders, and fiberglass hood out there? I don't care if they are a crappy install or need work, as long as it looks like it is for the s30 (I have a 78 2 seater). I would be modifying the hood with my own design of scoops anyhow for the radiator and forced cold air induction system. I have a wide variety of front bumpers I can use so no issue there.

I know things are called different in different parts of the country but usually the front clip is the suspension and the front cap is the body parts.Not trying to argue just make it clear what you are looking for. If I am wrong,please advise.Thanks.Always trying to learn.

I have never heard it called a cap, not in the 15 years I've been working on them.

I have allways heard it called a front clip (fenders hood and grille etc.) by all the bodymen I have ever known.
The undercarriage, Has allways been called the subframe, contains the suspension,engine mount pedestals, steering, etc. Never heard that called a front clip, except for a few times here at HR.com.

Yeah, they went out of business in 2009. As I am sure you can see my dilemma. Too bad also, they are only 45 min away from me.

Too bad you are so far away,I would help you make one.I have made and repaired quite a few race car parts over the last 35 years.
