The san francisco 49ers!!!
One of my earliest memories in life, and most memorable as a child was "the catch". I was 6 years old and remember being the youngest kid at the play off party my dad brought me too. I was fighting for attention and got it for a big portion of the game, then I sensed the wind just being taken out the room and quietness. This must have been when we were behind. So as an impressionable kid I cried and remember being told "it's not over, son". Then I remember the tension of the last few moments which was probably the final drive. Then at last I recall an explosion of emotion and dancing, and my dad picking me up in the air in glee. We were a football family to say the least.
Today is another day and another opportunity for glory for The San Francisco 49ers and Colin Kaepernick, and to keep the tradition alive I got my daughter a 49er shirt and she'll be our little good luck charm today. GO NINERS!!! ![]() PRE GAME WARM UP. KAEPERNICKING WILL COME LATER.

I am not a hard core 9er's fan but I will be rooting for them today. (Viking blood runs deep in my bones) Making chicken wings and going to the Moose lodge, should be fun. Be safe today!

Oh well it was still a close game. Hopefully fans will remember this super bowl as a battle of brother vs brother and not of Ray Lewis is career ending glory... Sadly judging by the post game that is not happening. PS Did you notice how the Annoucers kept trying to imitate Vin Scully everytime the 49er's were at goal. They kept saying "Looking, Looking" |

That was a good game! It certainly was a bit different at the end. I thought the 9'ers were doomed at halftime, but the lights out delay and a good halftime butt chewing woke up the defense.

Superdome lights return as all 53 49ers are lying motionless on ground. Whereabouts of Ray Lewis unknown.

Ray Lewis....the other OJ
the nerve of this guy to blame the system when the fact is the case was never solved because of him. http://blog.sfgate.com/hottopics/201...uble-homicide/ Last edited by tech69; 02-04-2013 at 08:40 AM. |

Probably one of the most ?entertaining? Super Bowls I have watched and my Congrats to the Ravens.
"7-yard line, trailing by five with 2:39 and four downs to win the game." If you score, you're a Champion If you don't, you blame the Refs

they couldn't stop the 49ers surge so they held. It's a clear hold, is it not? That would have put them at the one yard line with more than a minute left. That was a bad no call. Odds are favoring The 49ers next year and things like fumbling kicks offs and bad calls won't stop them. It's not fate, it's odds. Eventually we'll get one with this kid. 10 starts and 2-3 legendary performances.

OK, so it was a hold - - - - they had 3 more chances to win it from the 7 yard line and DID NOT SCORE - - - not quite what I would call "The Best Team" !

I'm not talking about THAT hold I'm talking about the other hold on 4th and goal. Was that not a hold? That was the biggest play of the game. They get that call and most likely win the game. There's a reason The 49ers are favored next year...cause they are the best team. We will probably be facing the Patriots and no one will think about the ravens for a long time. Now, I guess I should say that it's not guaranteed to happen but most likely.

Not going to debate this because you're a loyal fan and that's the way you should be but they had their chances and didn't capitalize - - - - not even Harbaugh can dispute that.
YES, it was very poor officiating from both sides but that's called the Human Factor which they have almost eliminated from the Sport. |
