I cringe almost, every time when someone starts a thread looking for a recommendation or using "cheap" (primer, base, clear, gun, compressor,
ad infinitum) "Good" costs money, time and effort. My attitude is that if you can't do it right, why do it at all? The only exception is trying to learn yourself something. But even then having really good material/equipment let's you eliminate or minimize one set of variables.
