Sandblasting & Epoxy Primer
Hi everyone
I sandblasted the bottom and edges of my trunk lid today and I was wondering what is the proper prep for something that has been sandblasted with Black diamond sand.Does it still need to be sanded or can you just blow it off and spray it with Epoxy primer.

sand with 180 or 320 to smooth metal from blasting, blow off clean and prime.
wear gloves DO NOT touch bare metal with your hands.

i wash with dawn soap and water before epoxy. buzzing it with 80 grit help smooth the finish some.
