Sandblasting in Seattle Area

Not sure if this is the correct forum for this post, but I am looking for a shop or private person that does sandblasting of small parts (suspension, headers, brake stuff) in the Seattle, WA area. Prefer a private person or small shop since most of the shops Ive found (phone book) seem to want commercial or industrial business.

We are looking into this also(we are in the tacoma/federal way area). We need a 66 beetle convertible hood and raintray media blasted. Hope there is a few responses on this one.

One thing you guys might want to try are the local powder coaters. They all use some kind of blasting and just might be up to earning some additional cash.

Thanks for the responses.

Here are a few powdercoating/blasting places I have found in the Seattle area. The first two came recommended from a Northwest GTO club message board as doing quality powdercoating work. Not sure if the first two do their own blasting or not.

I personally was hoping I could find a place closer to me (and cheaper) then the 4 below but. I think I might just go the drill/wire wheel route with my small parts. Shop prices being as high as they are out here, probably not worth it for my small parts.

Heres a few to look into:

Pacific Performance Coatings @ 425-339-5528. Located in North Everett

Powdercoating Specialists in Mulkiteo

www.ablasterscorp.com (as mentioned by gilby246 above)

esahlin, I was wondering what the four places below cost per hour. From the sounds of it the job would be max an hour of work. I am a Sandblaster, so I am curious what is being charged in Seattle vs Kelowna.

The one place I looked into was charging about $85 an hour. And it was about 20-30 miles from Seattle. I imagine, the places right here in the city would possibly be a bit more expensive.

Old thread, but I thought I'd point out another option.

This company comes to you:
Seattle Mobile Sandblasting | Black Diamond Blasting

7 types of blasting media. Blast, cleanup, etc. for less than most fixed locations.
