Have always had cars media blasted, D/A with 80 grit, then epoxy prime. By the way the first car I started working on when I was 12 was a 56 metropolitan convertible that I still have today. Was a father son project, and I guess that is where it all started.

Soda Blasting

Soda blasting is the best way to go if you want to remove all the paint. You must wash the vehicle with a mild soap and water first. You have to make sure you remove all the soda and rinse all the nooks and crannies. Good luck

dont sandblast man.i am in the middle of major door shrink work from a supposed good experianced opperator;!!!!!
