depends on experience realy
i would preffer to re-claer the whole panel than melt the clear in any how on the area i would usually 600 aroung the burn through then 800 the rest of the panel on the burn throgh apply some primer just a light mist allow to flash apply your base on the area let flash then take your base a little wider let flash on the 3rd coat ad little more reducer and spray little further fliking the gun as you come off let flash off then apply clear to the panel x3 coats hope this helps tommy |

Depending on your experience level and the color (metallic
) of your paint it could be blended. Perhaps the easiest thing would be to scuff the entire panel, apply one coat of base and re-clear.Vince |
