Sanded through my clear coat please help

Hi guys long time lurker first time posting. Anyway I'm a novice painter and most of my own work and do ok. Recently I painted a black stripe on the hood of my camaro when I was color sanding it i accidently went through the clear in a 4-5 inch area. The area still has a gloss appearance to it but in the light u can see (not feel) the slight change in where the clear is disrupted. Question what is the best way to go about fixing this can I just reclear it? Or can I blend the black back into that area and reshoot the clear? I'm a little nervous about the second one because Ive never done it and its obviously in a noticeable area. My other idea was to just resand the whole stripe area rebase it and reclear it but getting the tape area around the pin stripes could probably never be replicated perfectly. Please advise
Thanks Dan
