Sata 3000 air pressure

I just bought a new 3000 hvlp digital. I am a little confused about how to adjust the air pressure. Am I correct by pulling the trigger and setting the digital read out to 25-29 psi? When I do that the pressure coming out of the tip seems high to me.

Here you go..

run 100 lbs at the wall and then start with the pressure low and work up till you have good atomization and pattern. Might take some tries until you get it right for yourself..shoot a test panel and keep working on dialing your gun in till it shoots wet and slick..

I have tried most all of it and now do what is known to work..
