:confused: hi. i just purchased a satajet 90 for $25 dollars from a pawn shop gun looks great but painter left paint in gun so the nozzle was clogged. i tore the gun down and like the old days soaked the gun in aircraft stripper and then cleaned with thinner. will this affect the gaskets in side or should i be prepared to buy a rebuild kit. also is 200 a good price for a sata nr2000 in like new but used condition not clogged with paint lol!!

The satajet 90 is a good gun, you might have damaged some of the seals in the air control portion of the gun while soaking in aircraft stripper. Buy yourself a rebuild kit and put her together.

Probably a fair price for a used 2000 get it down to 150 and buy buy buy

I TRIED! BUT 190 WAS AS LOW AS HE WOULD GO. I SHOT THINNER THROUGH IT AND IT SHOT GREAT. NOW I JUST GOT TO LEARN TO SHOOT HVLP. IM USE TO THE BINKS AND DEVELBISS TYPE GUNS

I would use it primarily for base.. seems to do best for that..

when you say "im used to binks and devilbiss guns" do you imply they don't make hvlp guns? sorta confused?

Not a bad price for the NR2000. look on ebay for a good idea what they are going for.

oh okay, i was trying to figure out what that could mean....like HVLP is a brand term/name or something that has become generic since other people have copied it...like every body filler can sorta generically be called "bondo" now.

depending on tip setup it works great for bases/clears.
