I've cut up many many cars & even more metal with a sawzall {reciprocating saw} .
Use a pruning blade like this{watch you fingers!}
Mustangsally I will trade you straight up my makita {plus another parts one both with cases}for your Milwaukee! mine always spits out the blade
Most likely the chainsaw got dirt in the chain & ate up the blade.
I also use my cordless to trim limbs I keep that in my truck.
