SB Chevy Crossfire HEI Cap

These look neat the way they run the wires on a SBC, but I've read they live up to their name & soon you have cross-firing. Has anyone here used one of these & how well has it worked & held up?

Crossfire

Doc here,

The Majority of what you heard was true,..

Back to olde school...(If it Don't Go...Chrome it!!! )

However, There was a Private Manufacture that made these a while back And from all reports had good Success with them...I can't remember his name,

But one of the other members brought up the topic..and SEVERAL mentioned they had good results with them from his company..

Try a search under Crossfire in the knowledge Base here, and see if you can bring up that thread..It should have all the info you need ...

After Corvette Tried it...The backed away From it and proclaimed.."We ain't gonna Do that again..." Fraught with all kinds of warranty Issues...

Doc

Thanks Doc, I did a search before I posted both here & on the Inet & found some info. The original producer of these units was Madson. Apparently he was bought out & they're now available from various suppliers. What I want to know is how good is the new unit, I didn't locate any comments, proor con on the new Crossfire HEI SuperCap.
