SB Ford Starter

I am rebuilding my 55 Ford F100 with a 302 Ford Small Block and C4 Transmission. I ordered Patriot "Tight Tuck" headers. Upon getting the headers, instructions indicated that I need a "Short Ford Starter". Obviously, the original starter is too long and will not work.

My question is: Does anyone know of a ford factory starter that is shorter than a 6" case? Obviously, I can get a mini starter for around $160, but a stock type starter will work fine, if it is shorter.

Thanks
