I don't see that suffix code anywhere, either.

HEADS- 3927185....69-76...307/327/350..70cc chambers.

3970010 blocks were cast until 1979 or '80- depending on who you ask, so I'm gonna say the date is Dec. of '70, which would put this engine into a '71 vehicle. 327's were gone by then, so that would make this a 350. A quick measurement of the swept area of a bore will confirm this.

Also, it was cast in Flint, MI.
