sbc 327 heads

have a pair of double hump sbc 327 heads 190/150 valves from a 1967 camaro, there are bare with no valves or springs in good shape no cracks... what are they worth in todays market??

head number is 3917291

no rust been covered up and greased on the surface... im going to have them tanked to get a good clean up on them otherwise they are in great shape

The 291's are identical to the 462's. The 291's are cleaner with less casting-flash. I have only one set of camel's left, and they're 291's also. Just waiting for the right time to use them. I agree they're worth around $100 if they're clean. Unless someone's doing a "number's matching" restoration...and your date-code matches what they're looking for...you could get more. But to choose between $100...and some classic/out-of-production heads...I'd just keep the heads. (especially because I've given away so many camelback/fuelie heads, these heads are the only ones I have left)

+1. My dad holds on to his camel hump heads like they were made of gold. I don't necessarily hold them in as high of respect as he does but they're not terrible heads and are worth more in your garage than in your pocket.
