sbc 350

Hello everyone. Question: Where can I find information on a a sbc 350 from a 1983 chevy cargo van (big box type with dullies)? i.e., any details regarding the motor and tranny. Thank you ahead of time. Res, Wilky

If the tranny pan looks like a square with a corner whacked off, TH350. If it looks kinda like texas, I think it'd be a TH400. Normally a 350 is a 350 is a 350, especially in 70s emission crap. They have potential though, freed from the air pumps and early restrictive cats, and webs of vaccum lines.

Decode the vin, some of the heavy duty applications got better parts like a steel crank and 4 bolt mains.
