yes i just bought a 350 sbc 4 bolt main (14010207) which came with these heads (462624)...

i wanted to know how much hp does this engine make stock...???

and are the heads any good...??? all i know is that they came with 1.94/1.5 or 2.02/1.6 i still need to check...

am like so confused cause they sold me this engine which was in a 1965 impala...and i already checked some other websites and i found out that they were in light trucks,passenger cars,malibu,and camaros from 1980-1985, and some ppl say that this engine came from c4 corvettes using the same heads i have right now (462624)...did corvettes really came with this engine... i think some of you might be familiar with this engine and heads...any history of this engine,hp ratings...??? are the heads any good...???

Mortec says they're '75-'86 350/400, 76cc chambers. Could have had any of three different valve sizes in them. They are very thin wall castings, subject to cracking, particularly if ported. Also had core shift problems during manufacturing. Check for cracks at the valve seats. I'd use a band saw to slice 'em like bread and sell 'em as unique paper weights.

Pretty much the same Info. different site. Look just in front of the passenger side head on the top of block and see if there's a suffix/VIN number.
