sbc 350

the casting number on my block is i beleive is a 39 gm 397010 whats 39 gm stand for can any one tell me,

If you do a search here you'll find several decoding links. I don't think the "39" cast into the block is anything meaningful, the code on the front pad is informative if it's still visible.
You can never have too much power, just not enough traction...
