Hey everyone! I'm new to forums but can use the help. I just purchased a SBC off a family member which I believed to be a 327. When I checked the casting numbers 3 types of motors show up with the same casting. 302.327 & 350. I have the Front VIN numbers also. First set are: L7157568 second set are: V0207MV. If anyone can please help identify this engine It would be very helpful.
. Yes, the FIRST Chevy 350... and only available in the '67 Camaro... the only Camaro to have a wing window... 295 HP, but may be identical to the later ones rated 300 HP...
. Your Impala would scream with a lightly modified SBC 400"...
. SBC 400 with .040" overbore gives a 409"... put 283 stickers on it...
