SBC 400 spark plugs.

I have a 1971 400 SBC in a 4X4 Corvette. It has flat top pistons and a performance cam but I don't know the specs. It has the old camel hump heads so I need the old style spark plugs. It has a stock HEI large cap dizzy. What is the best plug to run for the street and a little off road fun?

Gasketed Plugs

Speedy, a R44 AC plug should get you in the ballpark. As you know, the early double hump heads use the gasket seat plug. Can't use the tapered seat peanut plugs. Nolan

Thanks, yes I did know I needed the big plug thats why I stated camel humps. I did not know if it made a difference that I had HEI instead of points. Now I know what to do. Thanks again. Come visit when you can.
