I did it on a 2 bolt that I went to 4 bolt billet caps on. Figured it would be a good Idea being Its got around 500 hp and I run it hard at the track every once in awhile. I only did it after talking to several people. The consensus was it wouldnt effect the cooling at all, that 90 percent of your heat and cooling is in your heads. Well being in Tucson Az were it gets up to 110 on a regular basis I havent had any cooling problems whatsoever. But keep in mind I have alluminum heads and radiator and a huge electric fan.
