SBC Bracket question

Is the air conditioning bracket the same as the drivers side alt bracket? Also is the bracket the same for all the different compressors?

Regards
Mark

First question:
No. Alt and AC brackets are totally different.

Second:
There are 2 main GM older compressors. The long A-6 and the shorter, fatter R-4. Brackets are not interchangable from one to the other.

Thanks Mark
I think I have the R-4 compressor on my Jag and I've been looking for custom brackets. I've found a ton of alt brackets but not the compressor and PS pump brackets. Anyone have a source for them?

Regards
Mark
