Leave it patina, clear over it throw a couple blankets over the seats and drop in a magnum 360, which includes converting to 12v. Well..... There is more than one way to skin a cat. I would love to toss a 440 and 727 into it, I even know just where to get one.

That may sound funny, but I knew a guy who converted an old ceramic drum washer as a hot tank. I have also seen a very unique dishwasher used as a hot tank. Only wIsh I had digital photos.

The 230 flathead 6 was used until at least '59. It would be the easiest, but not the fastest. I'd imagine one could be had for a reasonable price. There are still hop up parts fior a cool vintage look.

Dont get me wrong, the straight six is by far my favorite engine. If I could source one to put in the. At I would. 6equals eight had some good stuff for the old sixes, edgy still grinds cams for em. Lots of guys on the HAMB are knowledgeable about them. As well as p15d24
