[sbc] options for alternator w/ short wp and headers

Hey guys, im just looking for options for alternator setup on an sbc w/ headers and short water pump. Right now im using a funky mr.gasket setup where a bracket mounts over the drivers side header using the header bolts... but it's proved to be pretty flimsy and last time I was at the track I lost a belt. It's kind if a long belt setup and has flext with motor rpms.

Anyways, I was just wondering what sort of other options are out there as far as bracket systems go. If anyone can point me towards a company who makes good alternatives or has pictures that would be great.

Thanks,
Kevin

Jeese Louise..Why do people insist on spending a ton of money on a simple fix........................

I took an old alternator adjustment bracket, cut and redrilled it and put it to the bottom bolt of the alternator. That strengthens it a lot........

Not a great pic, but you can see it here.
