SBC Pilot Bearing

Guys, on my project I am installing a 3 speed transmission onto a former powerglide equipped 283 ('67). I purchased a clutch kit that included the pilot bearing (Bronze) and it is just a weeeee bit too big. I have a 327 block that the bearing fits into w/o issue. Is there a difference, do I have a wrong bearing, does this one need to be machined to fit the 283? Can you give me some possibilities. As an FYI, the throwout bearing that came in this kit broke 2 mins after I had it out of the box (bought new one made in USA), so this is why I suspect it may be the bearing as opposed to the motor, but this being my first go at this - I don't know. Any help is appreciated! Thanks, Brian

I think I have found the issue as I researched on the Dorman site. The bearing I need is about .033" smaller (in my previous post this would constitute: weeee). My only question now is, what is the difference in "Clutch-In!" and not?
