sbc repair

high guys have been offered a sbc short block but it has a crack in the block can this be repaired satisfactory thanks martin.

cracked up...

not sure in the UK of course.... but i'd be look'n around for another block to work on.... in my area they are a dime a dozen, so i'd have no need to do a repair.. ya i know that was no help..

Too many variables to say yes or no definitively. Agree with Bill, look for another block and magnaflux it before layin' down the sheckels.

With that crack, it is worth scrap price. Find a different core, and start fresh.
