sbc rockers
I'm about to buy a 283 sbc. It doesnt have any rockers but the seller says he'll supply a set complete with all nuts etc.
Question is - Ive been told to number all rockers when disassembling so they can be put back together with original pushrods to maintain wear characteristics mixing them up may inrease wear or even failure ? Is this b....t?

Sorry unless your running split ratio ex:1.5intake/1.6exhaust. Which I doubt should all be 1.5's.

I wouldn't worry about numbers but keep the rockers and balls the same.
