sbc temperatur sensor for aluminum heads!!!
(69 camaro) I replaced my 350 with one that has aluminum heads. the stock heads had a sensor with 1/2'' pipe the aluminum heads have 3/8'' hole I'm running with stock gauges and would like to keep it that way. I can't be the first to do this wright!!. need a part number that will work with my stock gauges. called part stores and camaro resto places with not much luck. all come up with 1/2'' stock sensor.

Look on the manifold, up by the water neck, see if there is a spot you can place the sensor.

Take the stock sensor to a machinist and have it turned down and re-threaded to 3/8" pipe.
