For one thing, using a 2" spacer and >2" long 1/4" bolts to mount the clutch/fan assembly will be stressing 1/4" fasteners a lot. Using a spacer that allows for shorter fasteners would be worth considering for that alone.
In the image below, you'd mount the spacer to the w/p hub w/one set of short fasteners, then mount the clutch/fan to the spacer using another set of fasteners. There will still be more stress on the w/p bearings, but all in all it's a better set up than a spacer using just four long 1/4" bolts.
