Sbc350

Was Wondering If Anyone Could Help Id Engine, Block # 3970010(back) The Front Shows T51519841 K02 27 Tkf, I Myself Think It's 350 (69-79) Others Say 327 Any Suggestions

You will have to pop open the oil pan and check the crank, then research the number on Mortec. Most likely it is a 350 though.

a 2 bolt main means it could of been a factory 327 or 350 engine block. a 327 crank in that block makes it a 327. 350 crank in that block rather its a 2 or 4 bolt main makes it a 350.

The code K02 27 TKF means...

K = St. Catherines, Ontario engine plant
02 27 = February 27th date of manufacture
TKF = 1975 350 out of a C-10 or 1500 chassis (pick-up, van or bus)

should be a good builder 350

I grew up looking for builder 350s in pick ups, vans, school buss, C50 & C60 trucks. but most of the school buss's and C50 & C60 trucks had 4 bolt mains and factory gm steel cranks.
